RUSCHEM Group is evaluating options for establishing a new vertically integrated gas chemical complex in the Arctic Zone. The project is implemented within the framework of the Strategy for Development of the Arctic Zone and Ensuring National Security of the Russian Federation 2035.
The estimated investments in establishing the new facility and infrastructure exceed 200 mln. rubles. The project will create new jobs both at the construction stage and upon the complex operation.
The gas condensate resource hubs are planned on the basis of Kumzhinsky and Korovinsky gas-condensate fields in the Nenets Autonomous Area. Also, RUSCHEM is considering construction of a methanol plant with associated export-oriented seaport infrastructure.
